I wrote this my senior year of high school. For my Music Theory class no less. Which by the way was 1990. Since that time, this has been one of my "oh look, there's a piano" tunes.

Almost didn't include it. Almost changed the pretentious title. I wrote a tune not long after which was eventually called "The Accuser" and released on my "Cappella" album, and this was originally repurposed as a part 2. For what and how, I had no idea. I figured I'd been living with this little 7/8 ditty for the past 30 years, I better just get it out of my system now.
